We have a limited number of Scholarships available based on financial need. The number and amount of scholarships available is based upon the contributions we receive. Our company is committed to assisting as many campers as possible in their quest to experience their own adventure at the Wizards & Warriors Summer Camp. While we sometimes receive more requests than available scholarships, and occasionally are unable to accept an application, we do strive to work with parents and organizations to assist as many children as we can.
To Donate: If you are an organization or individual that wishes to provide financial assistance for children, please contact us at (781) 270-4800 for more information. 100% of all donated funds are used for Camper Scholarships.
To Apply: Our scholarship program is a partnership between the camper families, donating organizations, and our own camp. We therefore require at least partial payment from the family. Transportation and incidentals are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient.
Each camper applicant must provide the following:
Also, you, the camper’s parent or legal guardian, must write a letter detailing why you believe your child will benefit from a session at Guard Up! Wizards & Warriors Camp.
Please send these materials by March 1st to:
Guard Up! Family Swordsmanship
103 Terrace Hall Ave
Burlington, MA 01803
After we receive the materials, we will mail the official Scholarship application to you, which needs to be returned by April 1st. Income is verified by a copy of your family’s most recent tax returns.
Referral Program: You can receive a tuition credit of $200 for each new Residential Camper you refer who is not a resident of your household or a sibling. You can receive up to the full cost of your tuition in referrals. “New Camper” is defined as anyone who has never attended a Guard Up camp or winter/spring adventure. Referred Campers may not be scholarship recipients.
