The History of Sidleterra

The Story: History of Sidleterra

Below is just a taste of what our adventurers experienced one summer.

Journey to Sidleterra
After a trek across dangerous seas, our heroes arrived at the city of King’s Watch, only to find that it was under siege by the terrible Ogre King and his forces. With the help of the heroes, King’s Watch repulsed the onslaught. But when the Ogre King himself joined the fray, he proved too strong for them to destroy. They had to undertake a lengthy and perilous quest to find the brute’s weakness. While traveling, they stumbled upon another unpleasant reality. The Ogre King’s heart, which he had enchanted and removed to a safe place, was protected by his pet, an immense and evil dragon! The heroes fought long and hard, but assisted by the Land of Sidleterra, they finally managed to slay the beast, driving a sword through the Ogre King’s beating heart and ending his reign of terror.

With King’s Watch safe for the time being, a new group of heroes arrived, braving the pirate-controlled waters in an effort to help find a home for the exploding population of King’s Watch. Setting out to the east, accompanied by the legendary explorer Toothpick Jones, they braved mountain trolls, spider-infested woods, torrential rivers, and bandit strongholds in search of the fabled Lost City, all the while doing their best to guard a caravan of supplies from thieves and predators.

After a long and harsh road, they arrived at the long-abandoned and overgrown city, only to find that it was inhabited by goblins. As they were about to raise arms, the Goblins came forward in peace, telling the heroes that they worked unwillingly, servants of a bullying and very old dragon living in the sewers beneath the city. They would depart in peace if the heroes could defeat the beast, and the heroes agreed to do so. Venturing into the dragon’s lair, they overcame many traps and obstacles before finding its horde – and the Dragon itself! The Heroes emerged victorious, but not without scars from the ordeal. True to their word, the Goblins departed in peace, allowing the first settlers to come in and help clean up the once bustling city… teaching the inhabitants to live harmoniously with the land.
